The Diagnostic Imaging department offers a free poster for veterinary practices and their staff on how to obtain quality radiographs, information on radiographic pearls, and instructions for special procedures. As part of our ongoing commitment to veterinary education and research, GCVS holds an annual Symposium as well as monthly roundtable discussions on the latest medical advances for veterinarians. GCVS obtains accredited approval through the TSBVME. Hours vary depending on the session type. Please review the available options below for specific information. Our monthly rounds are an opportunity for our referring DVM’s to continue their education throughout the year. We currently offer an option to attend our casual, roundtable format.
- Willowbrook Rounds – This monthly CE is held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Texas Land & Cattle Restaurant on HWY 249 & FM 1960. CE has been approved for 1.5 hours by the Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners for the entire year. Please reference to our calendar for more details, Willowbrook rounds will continue to be hosted by Dr. Chris Jones at 6:30 p.m.
Our Fall Symposium is a CE Event that is held annually to allow an opportunity for our referring DVM’s to obtain most of their required CE hours through one weekend session. The 2013 Symposium was held on the weekend of August 17th-18th. Typically, this session is held at an offsite location that is announced prior to registration opening.
